Privacy policy
Last updated · 1 October 2026
This site presents Aurva Software and the products it publishes. It has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. It has a single form, the one you use to write to us. This policy describes the little data that is involved when you visit or write to us, and the rights you have.
Data controller
The data controller is AURVA SOFTWARE, with its registered office at 138 avenue Victor Hugo, 75116 Paris, France. For any question about your data, write to contact@aurvasoftware.com.
Technical data from your visit
Like any website, this site cannot be displayed without some technical data being sent to the server that hosts it:
- IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system type, referring page;
- this data is recorded in the technical logs of the hosting provider, Vercel Inc., to keep the site running and secure;
- Aurva Software does not use it for statistics, profiling or marketing, and does not combine it with any other data.
Language preference cookie
This site sets no advertising, analytics or social media cookies. A single cookie may be stored on your device, and only if you choose a language in the language selector:
- name: lang — content: the code of the language you chose, for example “en”;
- purpose: to show the site in that language on your next visits, rather than in your browser’s language;
- lifetime: 12 months;
- it contains nothing that identifies you and is read only by this site.
Because it is set at your request and is strictly necessary for the service you ask for, it is exempt from consent under the guidelines of the CNIL, the French data protection authority. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Messages you send us
The form on the home page sends us your first and last name, your work email, your company name, your telephone number, the subjects you tick and the text of your message. It is only sent once you have ticked the consent box. Nothing else is collected. The message reaches us by email, and the request is recorded in a spreadsheet within our Google Workspace, so that we can find it again and follow it up. That address receives an acknowledgement, then our reply.
If you write to contact@aurvasoftware.com, we receive your email address, your name if it appears, the content of your message and any attachments. This data is used only to reply to you and to follow up on the exchange.
Both paths go through our own email, provided by Google Workspace: the form sends from our own mailbox, with no third-party sending service.
Legal bases and retention periods
- Contact form: your consent, given by ticking the box before sending. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to us, without affecting what was done beforehand. Data kept for as long as it takes to handle the request, then for no more than three years after the last exchange.
- Technical logs: Aurva Software’s legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working; kept by the hosting provider for a limited period, under its own policy.
- Language cookie: a service you expressly request; 12 months at most.
- Messages: legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive, or pre-contractual steps when your message concerns a business relationship; kept for as long as it takes to handle the request, then for no more than three years after the last exchange.
- Speculative job applications: pre-contractual steps; kept for no more than two years after the last contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion.
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold, rented or transferred. Only the people at Aurva Software who need it have access, together with the strictly necessary technical providers acting on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States — website hosting;
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace) — email, and the spreadsheet where requests are recorded.
It may also be disclosed to an administrative or judicial authority where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Vercel Inc. is based in the United States, and Google may process data outside the European Union. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR: the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework for companies that have joined it and, failing that, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or services: fonts are hosted with the site, and your browser contacts no server other than the hosting provider’s.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data:
- the right of access and rectification;
- the right to erasure and to restriction of processing;
- the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- the right to data portability, where it applies;
- the right to give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise them, write to contact@aurvasoftware.com. We reply within one month; proof of identity may be requested if there is reasonable doubt. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Changes
This policy may change, for example if the site ever offers a new service. The date of its last update is shown at the top of this page.
Product websites
Adjurio, SmartEmails and The Over Achiever have separate websites, each with its own privacy policy. This policy covers only Aurva Software’s corporate website.
